How far away from the shore are they? Did Sue just throw that tree that far? And how can the fairy control tiny tiny swords from any distance away with near-perfect accuracy? And don’t say “magic”, because even though that may be the answer, just waving that word is lazy. :p
Not far. Soleil and Flo are close enough to shore they have good line of sight of the beach and surrounding area. That combined with Sue being very very strong puts them in easy throwing range of her.
Soleil’s swordmage spells include a sub-routine for subliminal presience. She can’t directly see or perceive through them, but she has some awareness of their position relative to their surroundings even at a distance.
If she were a calmer and more logical person, Soleil could hypothetically direct each of the seven blades to a separate role and multitask, instead of simply throwing them in a swarm at her target.
