Hey don’t forget they’re still parents. Instead of killing them maybe try to remove the curse instead. Until they I believe leaving big piles of hay would keep them sated.
Also some friendly artistic critique – the way you’ve drawn Muffin’s hindleg from this angle, makes the leg appear to bend in a way that’s completely unnatural for canines. The leg will either appear to stretch straight out, leaving the paw face up, or bend once more just down past that knee you’ve got so that the paw faces down.
Welcome! 🙂
More animal anatomy: are you doing one without tusks to distinguish between the male and female? Because both sexes of elephants grow tusks. If you need a way to tell them apart, I’d instead recommend doing the female’s tusks much shorter, almost like pointed stubs kinda.
Because I can’t reply to Dave: In addition, the trunks seem to be African elephant as well, as it has two “fingers” on the end rather than the upper-only as in Asian elephants.
Technically all species and sexes have tusks, the question is whether they emerge. Some female Asians do have tiny tusks, while only half of Asian males’ tusks actually grow out; whereas all Africans’ tusks emerge unless something happens/they’re unhealthy etc.
… Sorry, I love elephants and I guess it’s overly strange for me to see a very African-looking adult elephant without tusks XD I’ll hush now.
By ‘half of Asian males’ it seems is more referring to Sri Lankan male elephants, I guess that strain’s males rarely grow tusks and if you combine populations of Asian elephants it works out to around half? *headscratch* looked it up to make sure I wasn’t going crazy.

I’m WISHING they ate dogs, but with what seems to be a correct stereotype about Americans and their dogs, and with author (and most of commenters, I presume) being from the States, I’m guessing dog’ll be fine. Which annoys me.
Leave the puppeh alone! Time for a big gun with silver bullets!

I might have been thinking of asian elephants, where the females don’t have tusks. But those are african elephant ears. So… hybrid species? XD
