Brother Harold does have a good question though. Deathbunny venom must work on the magical (spiritual?) plane as well.
Another thought: We kind of got a foreshadowing of this when he stung Sue. “Normal” venom wouldn’t work on a zombie, right?

Well, that, and the fact we saw the sting have an effect via that magical control/energy draining link just a few pages ago.
That said, it IS really good venom.
