I’m more worried about them keeping the Mr. Fluffy around than them then taking the venom. I mean, of course they do research and try to improve their arsenal of weapons; the venom aids them in that, but they’d be doing that even without it. On the other hand, if the Mr. Fluffy breaks free and regains his abilities…
Well, if you were dealing with a regular human criminal, would you keep any promises you gave them to be able to leave the situation intact and with all your possessions? Or would you consider them promises given to a person who’s not trustworthy and thus you wouldn’t be obliged to keep your word (especially if given under duress)?
I’m not sure I’m getting the point over well, but the laser-priests are essentially monster hunters, and would likely not apply their honor-code too strictly when dealing with monsters. Or, rather, they would stick to the letter, not the spirit, of the law or rules. Just like the two here were shown to do.
Well, that’s not as bad as I was imagining it would have turned out. Venom for R&D because that stuff is boss.
I was imagining some residual mind control action was going on, and some very serious happenings were going to happen (eventually, not on this night…biding time & all that)
Plus, I’m still holding hope that Henri’s stinger is a key component of the venom working the way it does (because magic)
Yeah, um, folks? Giving the human supremacy group access to a supervillain and potential superweapon? This is only gonna end terribly. I mean, I hated Mister Fluffy but I suspect this is going to end up the equivalent of Vargo Hoat meeting Gregor Clegane. NO ONE deserves what’s gonna come.

The word you’re looking for is “when.” When Mr. Fluffy breaks free….
For claiming to be the good guys, they’re sure acting very deviously…
