I went back and tweaked the dialogue in panel 2, seems my phrasing was giving the wrong impression. Bringer of Dawn isn’t calling those four his children, he’s saying those are Sue Kathryn and Henri’s actual parents.
…. Wait I’m confused. Are these their real parents he’s cursed into fighting them, or just puppets shaped like the real deal he can magic into having the right appearance and memories to throw off the team?
Three people.
– Henri (we know where his mom is – she’s the crab back on the island; Pierre must be his dad)
– Sue (based on the cast page, her last name is the same as that ogre like person on the far right, so I presume that’s her father; I don’t think we do know what happened to her mother. Maybe she did only have one parent?)
– Kathryn (whose parents must be on the left, with the swords)
I still didn’t get it until I read the notes about the correction – I thought the Bringer of Dawn was saying “these really are my children,” not “these really are their parents.”
Yeah, that’s not disturbing at all.
And how did he manage to, um, “father” a Deathbunny? On second thought, maybe I don’t want to know.
Same way he “fathered” vampires? He built him
Tweaked the dialogue since I phrased it kind of confusingly. He didn’t “father” anyone; he’ saying those are Sue Kathryn and Henri’s parents.
He said Sue was metaphorical, but these as his “real” children – poor Deathbunny family!

Because does that mean all their parents went to Hell when they died? 🙁
my thoughts exactly…and isn´t that sad, to imagine that your parents, whom you love very much, are in hell?
actually, sue probably has the easiest lot, since she doesn´t remember her mortal life, right?
I really hope these are just puppets…
Looks like Sue’s parent wants to go clubbing.
Err – 2 people (Sue and Henry) – and 3 males…I really *don’t* want to know the math on this one do I…?

3 people – Sue, Kathryn, and Henri. The two stitched together are Kathryn’s parents, Pierre is Henri’s dad, and the guy on the end is Sue’s dad.
