something tells me this won´t be as easy as it sounds…assassins trying to prevent the right kind of birth? gigantic flesh-eating vultures living on that mountain?
You’re thinking about Orks, which reproduce via space-born spores that eventually pop out some little mushroom things that later become said Orks. Also, when they paint vehicles red, they go faster.
More to the point; Orcs (multiple various settings), Orks (Warhammer 40,000), orks (Shadowrun), goblinoids, and all the various species and subspecies related to them are fictional. The orcs of S&K have yet to have their reproductive cycle, biological sexes, and genders fully established in this work of fiction (as far as I’m aware).
The heir needs to be born at the top of the mountain, but this arc is called “Child of the Forest”. I’m guessing that either the arc name is referring to an unmet adversary, or Sue’s mission is technically successful (parents reach top of mountain alive) but the child is born in the forest on the way.

So how *do* you hyper-jaywalk anyways?
Jaywalk after four cups of coffee.
LOL!!! *3 thumbs up*
Oh dear…
I like how the first panel points out she’s only there to guard a BODY – spiritual shenanigans are outside her contract and will cost extra.
Parents? But I thought orcs reproduced in the umm, whatever the term is for genderless species.

Orcs have only one gender, but there are still two parents, and either or both members of a couple can get pregnant.

SnK-verse orcs are mono-gendered but reproduce sexually. Either member of a pairing can be the one which gets pregnant.
