Or 84… Dave? We talking total stars or major stars in the ‘number in the constellation’ limit? Or is it a moot point and Soleil is a master and can darken the sky regardless?
“… ” is correct, the number of duplicate swords a midling swordmage such as Soleil can summon is an amount equal to the stars in their patron constellation, which for Soleil would be around seven swords. Some diagrams I googled show Cygnus having seven stars in it’s constellation and others show as much as eleven, so I’m choosing the lower number of the spectrum because Soleil really isn’t as clever or amazing as she thinks she is. >_>
The earlier reference to a master pixie swordmage “darkening the sky with her blades” is something more at Magnolia’s tier of mastery.
“I’MA PUNCH IT!”
I wonder what’s the maximum number of the swords she can use? Because if they could duplicate enough of the things to darken the sky with…
Number in her constellation, if memory serves, so ten.

Ah. So major stars, then. Thanks for clearing that up!
