The rookie mistake. Making your force-fields two ways instead of one way. Its great for containing explosions and trapping targets, but not great for defense as your attacks are either blocked or destroy the surrounding shield. Sue should be glad they didn’t try using a flamethrower or a heavy explosive weapon. It would be bye-bye shield and house at that point.

I think you’re supposed to pulse the shield when you fire
