The couple in panel 1 haven’t appeared in awhile, not since the first Adventure. They’re Paul and Samantha Colson, Sue and Kathryn’s next-door neighbors. Also seen here is Muffin the Bunny-Dog
If panel 2 is raising some strange questions, let me please remind you about Charla Henderson’s spirit form.
Welp. I’d say I wish normal sized Sue was there. But something tells me that they’d overwhelm her in seconds.
I love the Ellivanders speech patterns! đ
It’s hilarious how the newest residents of the neighborhood are the most accustomed to it’s madness.
(Re-reading the archive) Haha I like the spirit deer Mom sleeping in bed like that.
Dave, can spirits get “busy” with the living?
Spirit entities in the SnK setting have physical mass in the form of ectoplasm, and are solid enough that they do not have the traditional âwalk through wallsâ spirit ability. So… sure, why not. Watch the hooves.
Haha.
So besides the laugh, I’ve always thought on the same level as you do with the writing. I’ve been working on something for awhile and instead of traditional “ghosts walk through walls”, I’ve always seen them as being able to squeeze through cracks, under doors, what have you.
I guess the whole idea of being able to walk through physical materials always seemed way too OP.
Yeah, thatâs exactly why I decided ectoplasm works that way in this setting. Being able to phase through solid objects is kind of a âsonic screwdriverâ, in the sense that itâs a good way to get out of any given trouble situation. Itâs in ability thatâs so useful and so strong for avoiding trouble that one would have to constantly write around it. âHa ha ha youâll not be phasing out of this trap Kathryn, for I have invented a new ectoplasmic scrambler field!â That sort of thing, every time. If a power has to be constantly written around or ways to disable it constantly shoehorned in, youâre better off just not having it.
