That’s it for Helping Hands! (finally… >_>) In the Selkieverse where this is all televised instead of being a comic, I’d easily call this one a two-parter episode. Oy.
Helping Hands has actually been so long, I’ve decided to take a short break between Adventures before starting the next one. I’ll be taking Saturday and next week off of SnK, and the next Adventure will start December 4th!
See you then!
No, seriously, it looks like Sue has pockets sewed to her hips.
Oops sorry, thought I responded to this. Those aren’t pockets, Sue has metal plates bolted on to stabilize a few trouble areas.
oh great, the annoyance and the threat are about to team up – whats next, them forging an alliance with those dolts from the brotherhood?
…then again, i don´t think soleil will be all that happy that someone is taking over her ship+crew, so maybe she´ll end up siding with sue+kat against magnolia. as it is, i´ve pegged soleil more as chaotic neutral then truly evil 😉
Dun-dun-DUNNNNN!
it took me two days to realize that it was the frickin’ humongous SWORD that Soleil was dodging in panel three… and it wasn’t very obvious it was a sword in panel four as well…. i recognized the new-comer to the scene as a person we saw previously, but i couldn’t remember exactly what he has a beef with the Gals for… until i archive binged…
Yeah, I was relying more on the crab-claw hilt than the sword-shape to identify Cancer, so you kind of don’t see much of the blade.
Also, I do confess a bad habit I kind of have is throwing tags on things but not linkbacks. Here’s Magnolia’s last appearance: https://www.sueandkathryn.com/comic/sue-and-kathryn-313/
The sword having the same color as the background (sky) is what threw me off. There’s a straight line separating them, but also eight motion lines in that same part of the panel.
