It’s a great system as long as the wardens don’t just flee for their own lives and “forget” to do the voice command override. Or, you know, mind controlling teddy bears aren’t involved.

FUBAR snerk
Exactly my reaction. How dare you beat me to the punch.
He he! 😀
BTW, My google-fu has failed me: I couldn’t find any phonetic alphabets which use “UTAH” for “U”. (The NATO p.a. uses “UNIFORM”.) Which one is “UTAH” from?
I’m guessing that Dave went by memory instead of looking it up. Also, in NATO the R would be Romeo, not Rodeo.
Robin is correct. I was going from memory and didn’t fact-check. Learn from my mistake!
I had just assumed you had made up your own…
Alfa/Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliet, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-Ray, Yankee, Zulu.
Naw, I just ran from memory and I’m leaving the mistake up as a monument to my hubris. Besides, the FUBAR thing was the real joke anyway. Xd
@Dave: NO, No, no, NEVER admit to a mistake, instead say things like THIS:
No, dear readers, they CHANGED IT as a SECURITY MEASURE!!! that way anyone that’s familiar with the NATO phonetic pronunciations would do the same thing WE have, but instead THAT code would release the TRAP and just kill everybody in the hallway instead!!!
PS: that a joke about not ever admitting your misteaks by the way… 😀
As someone who grew up in Utah, I thought it was pretty cool. 🙂
“Utah” was used in a couple of older American spelling alphabets:

wow. opening up ALL the cells? now that will make things *interesting* for the brotherhood!
The phrase spelling FUBAR made me cackle out loud… XD
