I honestly don’t see that big of a deal about the fae silver. Traditionally fae have used fae silver for almost anything, including very mudane things such as flatware, jewelry and more due to the fact it never degrades.
And I have found nothing that suggests they restrict ownership of such items simply to fae creatures.
I mean, the Bringer of Dawn got his hands on the stuff somehow, and he counts as a land-toucher since he lost his wings. Maybe he can just magick it up, though.
