“B-but I’m a scientist!! I’m too clever to make, like, *actual* mistakes!”
I’ve seen Kat admit to minor, materials-type and calculations-type errors, but I don’t recall her making amends for really BIG failures of non-science-related judgement. Assuming I’m remembering correctly, and this be the episode where she learns she is NOT immune to gross judgement lapses despite being “intelligent”, that’d actually be a good parallel for what Selkie’s grappling with i the main story right now (integrating “mad science villainy” with using it wisely).
…You thought someone might be coercing Sue? Sue, the same girl who just curb stomped two kaiju sized creatures last episode? Even if it was a hostage situation, I think she’d let you know.
No but you did just violate someone’s trust because you ‘thought’ you knew better. :/ This isn’t the best side of Kathryn.
And it’s a little funny considering she’s the one who made the dangerous punchy robot that almost took over the neighborhood.
