“Silly Child!
You don’t see a pattern, therefore you assume that there must not be any pattern!
You claim faithfulness, & yet you question your Goddess?
Consider that perhaps this is not about YOU, & reassess your motivations.
I have a better role for you to play, & you will find it to be a better ‘fit’ than this would’ve been – but it will NOT be today.”
Okay, so Diana is kind of a long string of family-unfriendly words. Marie is heartbroken that her Goddess didn’t choose to kill her and put her in a sword. She believes this is her sole purpose in life?
Eh, if I was Sue I still wouldn’t want that fugging sword. It’s basically infused with the soul of three assholes. If it ever ends up as an intelligent weapon, it could be a huge pain in the fanny.
“Some ruffians learn not to mess with my pixies” — No, it doesn’t work that way. Death is not a learning experience, unless you mean that they’ll serve as a warning to other ruffians.
Oh, good point — I’m assuming they’re “gone for real”, since they’re throwaway characters (“they don’t even have names”), and I’m not convinced that swords are sapient. We’ll see what happens…
My question for Dave is: is the soul the life force or is the soul the personality. The commenters seem to think that the yahoolighan’s personalities will carryover. My understanding is that just the essence, just the presence of life-energy will carry over, not the goodness or badness? I don’t care what -flavor- Schnapps you drink, it’s the alcohol that does all the work. A drunk is a drunk.
My question for Todd is; do you monitor what Selkie is watching on TV, and discuss it with her?

Hecking shuffles mcgillicutty.
So how many swords do they imbue like per year?
Prolly depends on the number of folk what wanna die being made into a sword. I’m not raising my hand.

I think she’s implying that they aren’t actually *dead*, and that the sword will be sapient.
A odd claim to make in a world filled with undead. I’m sure Kathryn learned not to read by candlelight, for example.

There’s a D n’ D difference between a sword being sapient and a sword having an Ego. Swords with an ego are a clustiferous pain in the patoot.
Why not add Marie? I mean, if three souls is stronk, would not four be stronker?
Marie, you really wanna be stuck in a sword with 3 jerks that tried to kill you for profit for all eternity?
