considering that he managed to change her entire body/being, i´m not so sure that the vamp is defeated for good – more like lurking in the background, bidding his time, and subtly corrupting her more and more.
Now, the real question: if she’s effectively contained/subdued one of the 13, would that make it easier or harder (if possible) to contain any of/all the remaining 12? Just imagine the vampire essences within her, fighting amongst themselves over who gets to try & take control, never actively doing anything beyond giving her a nagging feeling at the back of her mind.
Harder, I’d imagine. No matter how well she knows her mind, she is but one fairy, and they are 13 ancients. The more she takes on, the more she has to subdue, and the more likely the one(s) she already has will decide they like their odds of a successful uprising.
Shot in the dark here Dave, but Magnolia has always reminded me of Granny Esme Weatherwax from Discworld by Terry Pratchett. I can’t wait to see her theories/reaction to what we the readers know about Sue! Also I love the idea of little girls and boys around the world watching this Bada** Ancient Fey Monster Huntress literally Mind over Matter a fucking Ancient Vampire Lord.
If she really did dominate a Vampire (as defined in her world) then whatever else she may be, she is also pretty bada**.

On that day it is said that amongst the Thirteen, twelve voices rang across the firmament in raucous ceaseless mirth
I used the antediluvian to become the antediluvian.
