I feel like starting off with saying that the friends shouldn’t be saved isn’t the right way to go about it. Anyone is going to get pretty upset hearing that first. Even if you hear the reason why first, you are still probably going to really doubt the truth of why your friends can’t be saved. Also, it would probably take a long conversation on why mitigation measures wouldn’t work instead of just not saving them (eg. if it is mind control, just preventing the mind control; if it is them turning evil, finding a way to stop them just in case as well as teaching them morals; etc.). It is also doubtful that Henri would be able to convince Sue and Kathryn of what the Oracle of Liliaceae is telling him, even if he was really well prepared and trained.
Strange plants claiming to know the future distributing prophecy is no basis for a system of saving your friends.
That’s a pretty extraordinary claim. It’s entirely reasonable to expect some pretty extraordinary evidence to back it up.

What mitigation measures does one take against being unwitting pawns of Satan? https://www.sueandkathryn.com/comic/sue-and-kathryn-728/
Depends on how they are being used as pawns. Technically Sue is a pawn too.
